Fulfilling Information Needs
A Community Approach

When most people think of libraries, they think of books. They envision a place with many shelves and an abundance of print materials to fill them. Fortunately, the Morrisville Public Library seeks to diminish such thoughts. We have much more to offer our community.

Yes, we do offer a large collection of books. In fact we have 22,700 items inside our library walls. We are also a proud member of the Mid-York Library System, which enables us to have access to millions of other books. The Magical Library Card

The magical thing about a public library is that its service is both quality and quantity. Even better, the membership is free. Anyone who enters our front doors is entitled to a library card. They are entitled access to as much information that is made available to them and they are entitled to do this at no charge.*

The only requirement is filling out an application and providing some form of picture identification. Applications may be acquired at the Morrisville Public Library Circulation Desk, or at your local Mid-York Library.

* The library does charge for the use of fax machines, photocopiers, and computer printers.
