The Library will be closed from Thursday November 25-Sunday November 28, 2021 for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will reopen Monday November 29 at 12pm.

The Library Board of Trustees annual Silent Auction is going on now!  Stop in and bid on several items today!  Bidding ends on Friday December 10 at 7pm.  Perfect gifts to give this holiday season!  The silent auction is being held in the library’s program room. FACE COVERINGS are REQUIRED while bidding on items.

Our December Book Discussion will be starting soon! We will be reading Seven Days of Us by Francesca Hornak!  Copies can be picked up starting December 1, 2021. Then look for our event of this on Facebook and join in the discussion from December 13-24, 2021!  Or, just read the book because we know you want to!

It’s Christmastime and Santa wants to hear from you! Stop in to the library starting December 1 through December 18 and write your letter to Santa with all your Christmas wishes on it! Make sure you address the back of the paper when you fold it, so we can deliver it to the North Pole for you! Slip it into our special letters to Santa mailbox at the circulation desk! Open to all ages; young and old!

Decorate a Holiday card for Crouse Community Center residents!  Stop in from Wednesday December 1 through Monday December 20 (during open hours) and make a Christmas card(s) for a resident(s) at Crouse Community Center! We will have blank cards, cards ready to color along with markers, crayons and colored pencils! If you know a resident personally, address the card, if not, no worries! Open to all ages! Help celebrate the holiday season with the residents! (We will take all cards made up to Crouse on Tuesday December 21.) We would love to make sure every resident gets a least one card this holiday season!

Join us Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm as our Library Manager, Michelle Rounds, reads on Facebook Live, Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo! Fun for kids and adults! (This runs now through December 22 with a night off on November 24).

Shop for the library this holiday season from our giving tree now through Saturday January 15, 2022!  We have several items the library needs! It’s EASY!  Grab a Christmas tag off our tree of something you would like to donate to the library.  Buy it, donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can!  We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2022.

The Morrisville Public Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12pm-7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 7pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm. FACE COVERINGS ARE MANDATORY inside; vaccinated or not!

Come do our Rock Painting Makerspace! Come in anytime during open hours now through Wednesday November 24 and paint a rock! Open to kids ages 8 through adult. (The paint markers are acrylic and do not wash off easy so sorry little ones!) Take your rock with you and leave it at someone’s door (to show kindness) or keep it and add to your garden in the spring! One rock per person, while supplies last. (The makerspace will be set up by the circulation desk.)
