We are having a summer kick-off party this Friday June 29 at 6:30pm!  Bring the family in and help us celebrate school being over and the start of summer!

We are having a book sale on Saturday July 7 from 8am to 2pm!  Lots of great deals to be had!  Hope to see you here!  Please note:  We are ONLY taking book donations per our donation policy.  Our policy states:  The Library will no longer be taking book donations unless they are children’s books, large type materials, DVD’s (not VHS), audio books on tape/CD or the current year of fiction or nonfiction books.  The only exception is that you may make an arrangement with the Library Manager to donate books to pay off fines.”  If you wish to donate to our sale, please follow our guidelines. Thank you for understanding.

Our summer reading program is almost here!  The theme this year is “Dream Big: Read!”.  Be sure to stop in and sign up starting the week of July 9.  It runs until Saturday August 18.  We are also having an adult summer reading program again this year too!  So anyone from ages 1 on can have fun with us this summer!  Hope to see you!

Join Master Illusionist, Leon Etienne on Wednesday July 11 at 6:30pm!  Come see what he has up his sleeve!  Bring the family in as he will razzle and dazzle you!  What new illusions does he have in store for us this year?  Help us kick off summer reading with him!

Calling all young and old artists (or not!)  We will be creating our 2012 summer reading mural on Friday July 13 at 6:30pm.  Come put your personal flare on this year’s mural!  Mural is to be hung in the library during the entire summer.

We will be closed on Wednesday July 4 to observe Independence Day.  We will reopen Thursday at 10am.

We have a new website!  Check it out at:  https://morrisvillepubliclibrary.org.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Join us as we celebrate famed children’s author and illustrator, Eric Carle’s birthday this Friday June 22 at 6:30pm!  We are going to hear some of his stories, learn to paint like him and have a party!  We know his birthday isn’t until 6/25 but who says he can’t have more than one?
