We are holding our annual Easter Basket Raffle now and I have 2 children’s baskets (donated by Nan Warren) and one adult flower basket donated by Holly’s Garden in Morrisville to give away! Tickets are $1 a piece and you can get yours from any trustee member or at the library! Get yours today! Winners will be drawn Friday April 22 at 6:30pm.
Don’t be a fool and miss out on our fun night to celebrate April Fool’s Day this Friday April 1 at 6:30pm. Come learn a joke or two and have lots of laughs this night!
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday April 5 at 9:30am and the topic is “Bugs”. Bring your child in for songs, stories and more!
Our next book talk will be on Wednesday April 6 at 12:15pm. The book being discussed is Something’s Missing by Martin Dicks. Copies can be picked up now. Bring your lunch and join in the discussion.
Join Nancy Knox on Thursday April 7 at 6:30pm as she shows us how to put pictures online and create online photo albums. This will take place at the fire house across the street.
Come learn about some cool birds for International Bird Day on Friday April 8 at 6:30pm. Did you even know that was a special day? Join us for lots of fun and learning!
Our family movie day will be Saturday April 9 at 10:30am at the fire house. The movie being shown is Tangled. Refreshments will be provided.
We are still taking volunteer applications to work some hours when our new addition is open in June. If interested, stop into the library and get one. Anyone 14 and older can apply.
We are holding a shelf fundraiser now and need your help! Donate coins on up to $500 to help build a stack of shelves. Inquire at the library for more details!

To celebrate the waffle, we will be having a waffle night this Friday March 25 at 6:30pm. Come learn where the waffle came from and eat some too!
On Saturday March 26 at 10:30am we will be having a book swap complete with pizza! Bring in some books that you would like to swap with some other patrons. Look at what others brought and find some new treasure to take home! This is open to kids, teens and adults! We are asking people to sign up for this program at the circulation desk. You can sign up now!
Our next Caldecott night is Wednesday March 30 at 6:30pm. Join Lucky, our library lizard, as we have fun with the book, Rapunzel by Paul O. Zelinsky.

Thank you to all who donated to our recent canned food drive for the Morrisville Food Pantry! We collected 226 items for them! If you didn’t get a chance to drop off items and still want to, they will take items all year round. Inquire at the Community Action building in Morrisville.

Please join us for Sign Language 101 this Friday March 4 at 6:30pm. Bring the family to learn about this “hand” language and learn some easy signs too!
