We are holding a canned food drive now through Monday, February 28 to benefit the Morrisville Food Pantry!!! If you owe fines at the library we are going to help you out! For every item you donate, we will take $1 off your outstanding fines. So if you donate 20 items, we will take $20 off your account! This is for the entire months of January and February…so clean that account up by the end of February and start the New Year off right!
Tired of snow? Join us for Daisy Day on Friday January 28 at 6:30pm. Have fun with us as we have fun with the daisy flower!
Saturday January 29 is National Puzzle Day! Have with celebrating with us at 10:30am!
Will the Groundhog see his shadow? Find out on Groundhog’s Day on Wednesday February 2 at 6:30pm and do some other fun things too!
Who is Rosa Parks? Come find out and have some fun learning about this famous woman on Friday February 4 at 6:30pm.
Kiddies Korner will be all about Valentine’s Day on Tuesday February 8 at 9:30am. Bring your preschool child in for songs, stories and more!
The next book talk is Wednesday February 9 at 12:15pm. The book being discussed is Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls. Copies can be picked up mid January. Bring your lunch and join in the discussion.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Bring the kids in to make some valentines for their friends and loved ones on Friday February 11 at 6:30pm.
How much do you know about Abraham Lincoln? Join us on Saturday February 12 at 10:30am as we have fun with this great president!
We are looking for people to donate their time to work some hours when our new addition is open in April. If you are interested, please stop into the library and get an application. Students looking to fulfill those community service hours for graduation are welcome to apply!

Family Movie Night is back on Friday January 21 at 6:00pm. Join us as we watch the newly released, Despicable Me on the big screen. Refreshments will be provided.
Kiddies Korner meets again on Tuesday January 25 at 9:30am. They will be reading stories about Bears so bring your preschool child in for some fun!

Join us for another Family Reading Night this Friday January 14 at 6:30pm. The theme is “Soup & Stories”. Come hear some stories about soup and then try some delicious kinds after!
Kids are you tired of the snow? Join us on Saturday January 15 at 10:30am for Gaming Day! Bring your handheld gaming systems! If you don’t own one bring some fun board games or choose a few to play from our selection.
Lucky’s Caldecott Series is back on Wednesday January 19 at 6:30pm. The book we will be focusing on is Joseph Had a Little Overcoat by Simms Tabeck.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday January 18 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
We will be closed on Monday January 17 to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.
