Summer Reading is over! We had 45 kids graduate this year! They are: Aysia, Indigo and Silas Bemont, Esther, Hannah, Levi and Noah Claxton, Jennifer and Toby Forward, Alejandro and Zachary Fuentes-Lamb, Darren and Kirsten Grabow, Ariana Hilliard, Kirston and Landon Markowski, Joah and Olivia McCoy, Lyla O’Hara, Colin, Jeanna and Paul Pittman, Kasey Riggall, Briana and Ryan Selinsky, Benjamin, Ian, Molly-Anne and Rhothghar Smith, Avery Snyder, Allison, Lindsay and MacKenzie Sternburg, Paislee Stevens, Calixto and Nick Suarez, Andrew and Theresa Vedder, Eric, John, Kady, Katherine and William Warner, Darren and Eric Zheng. Congratulations to all of you for a job well done! You read 1164 hours total!
We had 23 adults sign up for our first ever summer reading program for them. Stop in and ask at the desk for the book reviews they wrote about the books they read this summer. Get some great ideas for books to read this fall!
Join us for our Back to School Night on Wednesday September 14 at 6:30pm. We are going to celebrate we are back in school with games, goodies and more!
We are showing Hoodwinked Too on Friday September 16 at 6:00pm in the program room. Refreshments will be provided so bring the family in for this fun-loving movie.
The Library will be closed on Monday September 5 to observe Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday September 6 at 10am.
The Library Board of Trustees will meet in the program room on Thursday September 15 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Summer Reading is over! I will announce the graduates next week! Boy did we have a lot of fun this summer! We had 92 kids sign up and 23 adults for your first ever adult summer reading program! Be sure to join us next summer for Dream Big: Read!
We will be showing Rango, the movie, this Friday August 19 at 6:00pm in the program room. We will provide the popcorn; come enjoy this great movie with us!
We will be having our own Morrisville Olympics on Friday August 26 at 6:30pm. Ever wonder what the colors of the Olympic rings stand for? Join us as we figure that out and then divide into teams and do our own games and fun!
Our own Jody Luce, will be hosting a tie dying night on Wednesday August 31 at 6:30pm. Bring a washed t-shirt, handkerchief or other white item and join in the fun!
Please note: New Book Donation Policy-effective 8/9/11. Morrisville Public Library will no longer be taking book donations unless they are children’s books or you made an arrangement with the Library Manager to donate books to pay off fines. Our donations have exceeded our capacity. Thank you for your understanding.

Summer Reading is almost over! Program ends this Saturday August 13 so kids be sure to read at least 10 hours so you can graduate and win fun prizes at our graduation ceremony! Make sure you turn in your reading records by 4pm on Saturday!
Melanie Zimmer will be here this Friday August 12 at 6:30pm with her “Littlest Pirate Puppet Show”. This is a family event that will sure have everyone leaving here laughing! Hope so see you here!
If you have read at least 10 hours for summer reading and recorded it, you are invited to our graduation ceremony on Wednesday August 17 at 6:30pm. Lots of great prizes and ice cream sundaes will be had!

Our new addition is open! Stop in now and see the beautiful new space we have! Also, we have AC so if it’s hot out, what better place to cool off at then your public library!

We are having a LEGO MANIA display contest now! Call or stop into the library for more details. LEGO entries are due August 6 by 4pm.
