Ever wondered how the zipper was invented?  Join us this Friday April 29 at 6:30pm as we have fun with this invention!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday May 3 at 9:30am with “What’s in the Garden?”  Bring your child or grandchild in to hear some stories about the garden!

“Share a book” book talk will be Wednesday May 4 at 12:15pm.  Bring a book or two (or more) that you would like to share with the group.  Bring your lunch and discuss all these favorites!  After, these will be compiled into our summer reading list for adults for 2011.

May is Strawberry month so be sure to join us for Strawberries Galore! on Friday May 6 at 6:30pm.  Come learn about the strawberry and enjoy some yummy treats!

Join us on Saturday May 7 at 10:30am as we make gifts to honor our beloved mothers.  Mother’s Day is Sunday May 8, so bring the kids in to make something for their mom!

Want to learn how to use your E-reader?  Want to learn what one to buy?  Would you like to learn how to download e-books and more?  Then be sure and join us on Wednesday May 11 at 6:30pm.  PLEASE NOTE:  This program will be held at the fire house across the street.

To celebrate Friday the 13th we will be showing Little Vampires on Friday May 13 at 6:00pm.  We will provide the refreshments!  Note:  This movie will be shown at the fire house.

We are still taking volunteer applications to work some hours when our new addition is open in June.  If interested, stop into the library and get one.  Anyone 14 and older can apply.

We are holding a shelf fundraiser now and need your help!  Donate coins on up to $500 to help build a stack of shelves.  Inquire at the library for more details!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Our annual Easter Basket Raffle is almost over!  Tickets are $1 a piece and you can get yours from any trustee member or at the library!  Get yours today!  Winners will be drawn this Friday April 22 at 6:30pm.

Join us as we celebrate Earth Day this Friday April 22 at 6:30pm.  Let’s learn how to make our planet last forever while having fun at the same time!

Help us celebrate McDonald’s the fast food chain’s birthday this Friday April 15 at 6:30pm.  Come celebrate with McDonald’s food and more!

Come learn about some cool birds for International Bird Day this Friday April 8 at 6:30pm.  Did you even know that was a special day?  Join us for lots of fun and learning!

Our family movie day will be Saturday April 9 at 10:30am at the fire house.  The movie being shown is Tangled.  Refreshments will be provided.

Lucky, our Library Lizard, will host his Caldecott Series again on Wednesday April 13 at 6:30pm.  The book we are having fun with is Golem by David Wisniewski.  Come in and have fun with us!
