Our Pumpkin Coloring Contest is over!  All winners will be announced at the Halloween Party later this week!

Our annual Halloween party will be Friday October 29 at 6:30pm.  Wear your costume and come and join us!  Listen to a story, play some games, and eat Halloween refreshments.

Kiddies Korner is all about being silly on Tuesday November 2 at 9:30am.  Bring your preschool child in for some stories and more!

We received the Libri Foundation grant and were able to purchase 80 new children’s books (fiction and non-fiction).  Join us on Friday November 5 at 6:30pm as we unveil the new books, have some goodies and thank the Libri Foundation and our Friends of the Library.

Celebrate the donut with us on Saturday November 6 at 10:30am.  We will be learning some history about the doughnut and then decorating our own doughnuts!

Heard of Facebook but have no idea what it is or how to use this social network?  Join Library Staff, Samantha Rader & Heather Jennings as they teach us how to set up and navigate around this social network on Monday November 8 at 6:30pm.  Connect with your family and friends!

Wednesday November 10 we are having a family reading night at 6:30pm called Soup and Stories.   Listen to some great stories about soup then eat some delicious soup!

Family Bingo Night will be Friday November 12 at 6:30pm.  Bring the family in and play a game or two.  All kids are guaranteed a prize and adults play for fun!

If you have not gotten a pumpkin for Halloween, the Library is selling pumpkins this Friday and Saturday from 3-6pm.  Stop in and get your pumpkin from us!  No pumpkin will cost more than $5.

The Library will be closed on Thursday November 11 to observe Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen Friday at noon.

Our Pumpkin Coloring Contest is almost over!  Children from toddler age up to and including 6th grade may participate.  All entries must be returned to the library NO LATER than this Saturday October 23 at 4pm.  Winners will be announced at our Halloween party.

Our book talk series is back this Friday October 22 at 7pm.  The book being discussed is Sandra Brown’s Rainwater.  Copies can be picked up now!

Join us for our gaming day on Saturday October 23 at 10:30am.  Bring your handheld gaming system or come and play some board games with others!

Lucky the Library Lizard’s next Caldecott night will be Wednesday October 27 at 6:30pm.  We will be having fun with David Wiesner’s The Three Pigs.  Come have fun with this Caldecott winner.

Join us on Friday October 15 at 6:30pm for Pioneer Night.  Join us as we learn about Pioneer life and try some of their food!

Join Village Historian, Sue Greenhagen, on Monday October 18 at 6:30pm as she shares with us this amazing virtual tour of one of the most interesting cemeteries in New York State, Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.

We are having a Pasta Night this Friday October 8 at 6:30pm.  Make some cool things with pasta then eat dinner with us!  Various kinds of pasta will be here for eating!

Saturday October 9 at 10:30am is Survivor: Family Style.  Compete against other families to see who is the best!

Jim Teske, Meteorologist from 9WSYR, will be here on Wednesday October 13 at 6:30pm to share with us some of his gadgets for predicting the weather.
