Our 5th Annual Easter Basket Raffle is almost over!  Stop in and buy your tickets today to win a boy’s children’s basket, a girl’s children’s basket, both filled with goodies, or a flowering basket for the adults donated by Holly’s Garden in Morrisville.  Tickets are $1 each.  Raffle ends at 6pm on Friday April 2.

This Friday April 2 at 6:30pm come join us for some Egg fun!  We are going to do some cool things with eggs and have an Easter egg hunt!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday April 6 at 9:30am.  They will be hearing stories on “Down on the Farm”!  If you can’t make it that day, join us on Tuesday April 20 for “It’s Raining!”

Family Movie Night is back on Friday April 9 at 6:00pm.  The movie being shown is Planet 51!  Bring something comfy to sit in and we will provide the popcorn!

Saturday April 10 at 10:30am, we will be having a Sibling’s Day!  Join us for silly picture fun and more!  Kids of all ages are welcome!

Join local greenhouse owner and plant lover, Brad Alcott on Monday April 12 at 6:30pm and discuss spring planting with him.

Lucky’s Caldecott series is back on Wednesday April 14 at 6:30pm.  Lucky wants us to look at Chris Raschka’s The Hello Goodbye Window.  Join us as we read this book and do fun things!

Our next book talk will be Friday April 16 at 12:15pm.  The book being discussed is Jodi Picoult’s Plain Truth.  Copies can be picked up now.

Also on Friday April 16 at 6:30pm, we will be having a Trash to Treasure night.  Are you at a loss for what to do with old magazines?  Come learn how to make beautiful collage art with scrap paper!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

We are showing the movie, New Moon, on Friday March 26 at 6:00pm.  It’s rated PG-13, so teenagers and older only!  Refreshments will be provided.

On Monday March 29 at 6:30pm we will be having a Skype talk with YA author, Melissa Ford.  She will talk about writing and her novel, His Friday Girls.

This Friday March 19 at 6:30pm, join us for Twilight Trivia Night!  We will test our Twilight knowledge while we wait for the movie to come out.  A prize will be given to the most convincing vampire costume!  Refreshments will be provided.

Saturday March 20 from 12-2pm, join us for our annual Elementary Art Reception!  Check out all the great works of art from Pre-K through 6th grade!  Meet some of the budding artists too!

This Friday March 12 at 6:30pm is Fudge Night!  Bring your favorite fudge or recipe to share and we’ll be sure to have a sweet time!

Join Ryan Wormuth on Monday March 15 at 6:30pm as he discusses how to build your Financial House.  We all wish we knew more about how to manage our money!

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday March 16 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  The public is welcome to attend.

In memory of JD Salinger who passed away last month, our next book talk will be The Catcher in the Rye this Friday March 5 at 12:15pm.  Bring your lunch and join in the discussion.  Copies can be picked up now.

Also on Friday March 5 at 6:30pm, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Join us as we read stories and decorate sugar cookies in Seussical ways!

Join us on Saturday March 6 at 10:30am as we celebrate the artist, Michelangelo’s Birthday!  We plan to celebrate like Michelangelo from Ninja Turtles would with pizza and fun!

Sue Greenhagen, Village Historian, will be hosting a “Magical History Tour” on Monday March 8 at 6:30pm.  Morrisville 100 years ago was in many ways the same village it is now, but with some differences that are startling.  Come and be surprised!
