Summer Reading is coming! This year’s theme is “Make a Splash at your Library!” It’s all about water and we are going to get wet this summer! Stop in the week of July 6 and sign up! Get your bag of goodies and start reading the summer away! Program ends on Saturday August 14 and kids ages 1-17 are invited to participate. Anyone completing at least 10 hours of reading, will be invited to attend our graduation ceremony complete with prizes and ice cream sundaes!
To kick off Summer Reading help us create the Summer Reading mural on Friday July 8 at 6:30pm! Supplies will be provided; just need all young and old talent to come and create! Reminder: all of our programs will now be held at the fire house across the street.
We are having a Plant/Garage Sale on Saturday July 10th from 8am to 1pm. See what surplus items we have for sale and/or buy some flowering plants to add to your gardens at home! All proceeds will benefit the building project and/or landscaping when the project is done. This will be held at the library.
On Wednesday July 14 at 6:30pm, Domino the Great will be here! He has performed at the White House as well as many other renowned places so be sure to join us for a “magical time” with this awesome magician! (program will be at the fire house)
Friday July 16 at 6:30pm we will be having a Squirt Gun War! We will be having a silly squirt gun war! Dress to get wet!
We will be closed Monday July 5 to observe Independence Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Famous children’s author, Eric Carle will be having a birthday this Friday June 25 at 6:30pm. Come in for some cake and stories and help us celebrate this amazing man!
On Monday June 28 at 6:30pm Author, Rachael Ikins, will be doing a reading of some of her work! She is a member of several local and regional writing societies and artists’ co-ops, and also runs her own blogs. Stop in and hear from this great author!

Well, the verdict is in! Stop into the library to find out who killed the Mayor of Morrisville! Join us next year for another murder mystery series with another prominent figure in the community!
This Friday June 18 at 6:30pm join us as we make some gifts for our Dad for Father’s Day. This program will be held at the municipal building (fire house) across the street. (PLEASE NOTE: From now on until our building project is complete, our programs will be held at the municipal building.)
Wednesday June 23 at 6:30pm, we will be having an end of school year bash! Come in and help us celebrate the start of summer vacation!

The Morrisville Mayor was found dead in the library! On Friday June 11 at 6:30pm, part 3 of our Murder Mystery series: Interrogation and Evidence will happen. Come and help with the next part to see who killed the Morrisville Mayor in the library! Then on Saturday June 12 at 10:30am join us for part 4 when the arrest will be made and we will uncover who did indeed kill her.
We will be having a writing workshop for adults on Monday June 14 at 6:30pm. Have you ever been told your life could be the fodder for a sitcom? Or have you always itched to tell you story? Join us for an introductory workshop on the hardest part of storytelling: getting it down on paper. No experience needed.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet again on Tuesday June 15 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Morrisville Mayor has been found dead in the library! On Friday June 4 at 6:30pm we will be learning about codes and false leads (part two of our murder mystery series). On Friday June 11 at 6:30pm, part 3 of our Murder Mystery series: Interrogation and Evidence will happen. Come and help with the next part to see who killed the Morrisville Mayor in the library! Join us Wednesday June 9 at 6:30pm for our next Lucky’s Caldecott night! The book we will be looking at and having fun with this month is The Man Who Walked Between the Towers by Mordicai Gerstein. Kids ages 7-14 are encouraged to come and have fun with us!
