Summer Reading has begun!  The program ends on Saturday August 14 so make sure you have read 10 hours (or more) and if collectively all the kids read 1500 hrs or more, Laura, the programmer, will color her hair purple!  So keep reading!!!

Friday July 30 at 6:30pm join us for Water Mafia!  If you’ve never heard of the game “Mafia” now’s the time to learn how to play!  This interactive game of whodunit will take a wet and wild twist!

Join us on Wednesday August 4 at 6:30pm as we make sailor tattoos!  Ask any old sailor and they’ll tell you that nautical tattoos are a big deal!

On Friday August 6 at 6:00pm our family movie night is back and we will be showing the movie, Finding Nemo.  Refreshments will be provided!

Wednesday August 11 at 6:30pm be sure to join us for Mister E’s Circus and Carnival show!  Lots of fun and laughs so bring the whole family in for a great time!

If you read at least 10 hours during our summer reading program and have turned in all your reading records, you are invited to our graduation ceremony on Wednesday August 18 at 6:30pm.  Ice cream sundaes, certificates and lots of prizes to be given out!  Make sure to get those minutes in by Saturday August 14 at 4pm.

Friday August 20 at 6:30pm, we will be having a tie dye night!  Bring an old handkerchief or t-shirt or anything you want to see retro hippie tie dye patterns on!  We’ll be dyeing clothes into new!

Reminder: all of our programs will now be held at the fire house across the street.

We will be closed Saturday August 7 for a staff retreat but will reopen Monday at noon.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Summer Reading has begun!  The theme is “Make a Splash at your Library!”  It’s all about water and we are going to get wet this summer!  If you haven’t signed up yet, do so now!  Program ends on Saturday August 14 and kids ages 1-17 are invited to participate.  All you have to do is read 10 hours (or more) and if collectively all the kids read 1500 hrs or more, Laura, the programmer, will color her hair purple!  So keep reading!!!

This Friday July 23 at 6:30pm, join us for “Andy Sings!”  Andy “The Music Man” Morse will be doing a repertoire of water themed songs! Sure to delight the entire family!

On Saturday July 24 at 10:30am, join us for Water Balloon Physics!  Prepare to get wet while we do experiments with Water Balloons and the way they move!

On Wednesday July 28 at 6:30pm, join Professor Grant Jackson from Morrisville State College as he shares with us about Hydroponics.  Learn how plants can grow in water instead of soil.

This Friday July 16 at 6:30pm we will be having a Squirt Gun War!  We will be playing a bunch of squirt gun games before the big war at the end!  Dress to get wet!  This will be held at the library.

On Wednesday July 21 at 6:30pm, bring the family in to meet Jim Teske, Meteorologist from 9 WSYR as he shares with us some of his gadgets and such for predicting the weather!

To kick off Summer Reading help us create the Summer Reading mural this Friday July 8 at 6:30pm!  Supplies will be provided; just need all young and old talent to come and create!

We are having a Plant/Garage Sale on Saturday July 10th from 8am to 1pm.  See what surplus items we have for sale and/or buy some flowering plants to add to your gardens at home!  All proceeds will benefit the building project and/or landscaping when the project is done.  This will be held at the library.

On Wednesday July 14 at 6:30pm, Domino the Great will be here!  He has performed at the White House as well as many other renowned places so be sure to join us for a “magical time” with this awesome magician!
