The library would like to remind all patrons that Tuesday May 19 is the 2010 library budget vote. The vote will take place at Edward R. Andrews Elementary School between the hours of 6 am and 9 pm. It is very important that the budget pass, so that the library can continue to provide excellent services.

About seventy-five percent of the taxpayers will experience an average increase of $12 per year. If you break it down, this increase works out to be 23¢ per week or 3¢ per day. It is a very small price to pay for such a wonderful library.

The benefits of passing the 2010 budget are numerous. First, the library will purchase more books and DVD’s. Second, the library will offer more computers with high speed Internet access for public use. Third, the library will increase library hours to 50 hours per week. Fourth, the library will provide more educational programs for children and adults. Lastly, the library will improve building facilities through restoration and repair.

If you would like to learn more about the budget you may visit our website or stop in during library hours. Please vote yes for your library on Tuesday May 19!

Gaming Club is back on Friday May 22 at 6:30pm.  Come in and share games and have fun with other gamers!  Don’t own a handheld game?  Don’t Worry!  You can come play a board game from our collection.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
