MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  We are partnering with Madison County 4-H Youth Development and hatching baby chicks again this year! The hatching event will be this weekend (May 14th and 15th)!  It looks like we will have over a dozen eggs that should hatch!  During the hatching we will be Facebook Live the entire time (technology permitting) and we will restart the feed every 4 hours, 24 hours a day until the chicks are hatched!  Then view our Hatched Cam after to see the baby chicks as they get used to their new surroundings.  Depending on where we are with COVID numbers, we may allow viewings of the babies by appointment so check back!

If you are child, ages 2-15, stop in get our May take-n-make’s!  You can make a 3-D sticker butterfly and a paper flower bouquet!  We also have birdhouses too!  Come get yours today (while supplies last!)

Our May Virtual Book Discussion is American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins!  Copies are available now!  If you do not want to comment on our event page on Facebook, you can still read the book and tell the staff if you like it or not!  We have some great discussions at the circulation desk of our book talk book each month!

CALLING ALL KIDS!  Help us decorate our Summer Reading, Tails & Tales, banner! Stop in and get your letter now (first come first serve)! Take it home and decorate it and return it by June 4, 2021.

Join us Wednesday evenings for Classics with Chelle at 7:00pm, as our Library Manager, Michelle Rounds, reads on Facebook Live a classic book! Fun for kids and adults! We are reading Beverly Cleary’s The Mouse and the Motorcycle!

We will be closing at 6:30pm on Thursday May 20, 2021.  Sorry for any inconvenience.  We will also be closed Friday May 28-through Monday May 31 to observe Memorial Day.  We will reopen Tuesday June 1 at 12pm.

The Morrisville Public Library is open Monday through Friday from 12pm-7pm. FACE COVERINGS ARE MANDATORY and MAKE SURE TO USE THE HAND SANITIZER UPON ENTRANCE (as required)!  Our outside book drop is back out front of the library for after hour returns!
