Our Summer Reading Program, Tails & Tales ends this week! Kids who are signed up need to make sure to complete 12 hours of reading and turn in their records by this Friday August 20 at 7pm! Then join us for our virtual graduation ceremony Wednesday August 25 at 7pm on YouTube (link to be provided on our website and Facebook the night of). See who won what prizes and more! (Prizes and certificates can picked up anytime starting Thursday August 26 during open hours.)
Join us anytime from 6:30pm-8:00pm for our Virtual Bizarre Animal Trivia on Thursday August 19! Look for the link on our Facebook page or on our website at 6:30pm. See how many you can get right about Animals and be at the top of the leaderboard!
Join Illusionist Leon Etienne for his Magic Rocks program on Friday August 20 at 4:00pm, OUTSIDE! Face coverings and social distancing are not mandated for outside programs. (Masks and/or social distancing are optional by you, based on your comfort level.) Bring your own chairs, blankets, etc. to sit on as the library will not be providing anything. Remember it will be outside so plan for the weather- temperature, bugs, sprinkles of rain, etc.!
We will be continuing our take-n-make crafts through the fall and into December. Check out our website for the crafts we will be making: https://morrisvillepubliclibrary.org/events/take-n-make-crafts/. Open to kids ages 2-15, while supplies last. We have some great fall crafts for September!
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm starting September 1, 2021, as our Library Manager, Michelle Rounds, reads on Facebook Live, James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl! Fun for kids and adults! (This will run September 1 through October 13).
BIG NEWS! Starting Tuesday September 7, our hours are changing! We will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12pm-7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am-7pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm! These are our NEW winter hours! (Summers we will still be closed on Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.)
We will be closed on Monday September 6 to observe Labor Day. The Morrisville Public Library is open Monday through Friday from 12pm-7pm. FACE COVERINGS ARE STILL MANDATORY inside!

Our Summer Reading Program, Tails & Tales is winding down! Only a little over two weeks left! Kids who are signed up need to make sure to complete 12 hours of reading and turn in their records by Friday August 20 at 7pm! Check out our In Library Makerspace- Blobfish Slime! No Take-n-Make this week as we couldn’t pass up making Blobfish Slime! There was no way to safely transport the materials to make this at home, so instead we have a makerspace here at the library. Come in from Monday August 9-Friday August 13 and create your own Blobfish Slime to take home. (One slime per family please!)
Join Library Manager, Michelle Rounds, for our Virtual Story Time about Zoo Animals on Tuesday August 10 at 11:00am and Little Red Riding Hood on Tuesday August 17 on Facebook Live! Then stop into the library and get the craft activity to take home and do! Be sure to listen for a code word during the readings! Then let us know this word to get your ticket entered into the prize drawings at the end of summer reading! (Craft kits are for kids ages 3-9 ONLY!)
Join us Friday August 13 at 6:30pm as we play some awesome, outside water games to enjoy the summer weather! Dress to get wet (bring a towel). Registration WILL NO LONGER BE NEEDED as per recent changes to state mandates. Face coverings and social distancing are not mandated for outside programs. (Masks and/or social distancing are optional by you, based on your comfort level.) Make sure to do library business BEFORE the program as the library closes at 7pm.
Stop in Monday August 16-Friday August 20 and get your take-n-make activity to do at home! This week will HODGE PODGE week! If you missed a week stop in and see what crafts/kits from the prior 6 weeks we have left! Grab one kit to take home! (Only ONE kit per person. We are sorry if you missed more than one week, we only have a limited number of kits so choose the one you really want to do!) Craft kits are for kids ages 4-15 ONLY!
