Summer Reading begins Monday July 2nd! “Libraries Rock” is the theme this year! We have LOTS of fun programs and performers planned! Check out our website for all the details at: https://morrisvillepubliclibrary.org/events/summer-reading-2018/
Bring your preschool child (ages 2-5) for our summer time story hour starting Tuesday July 3 at 10am! We will be reading stories about “Let’s Learn!” Make a craft, hear some stories and more! (If you cannot make that day, join us July 10 for “Let’s Listen!”)
Help us create the Summer Reading mural for the summer on Friday July 6 at 6:30pm! Supplies will be provided; just need all young and old talent to come and create!
Our Book Sale Extravaganza begins on Saturday July 7 at 8:00am-2:00pm! Join us for our annual book sale. Lots of great deals! Get some great reads for the summer ahead! The Book Sale will be held in the Library’s program room. The Library will be closed to the public (due to summer hours). It continues on Monday July 9 with our Clearance Sale from 12pm-6:30pm. It’s a Bag Sale! Whatever you can get in a bag for a $1!!! Then we end on Tuesday July 10 from 10am to 8pm with our FREE sale! Whatever is left is yours from our book sale! We will not provide bags or boxes so bring your own! We ALSO will not be available for carrying items to your car. We will NOT hold any materials.
Join Dave and Kyle Fultz for their sensational juggling act, Gravitational Bull Juggling, on Wednesday July 11 at 6:30pm! Juggling, Comedy, Magic, Storytelling, Balloon Sculpture & More! “We don’t defy gravity, we just tease it a little.” Fun for the ENTIRE family!
Come have fun with the sounds of nature on Friday July 13 at 6:30pm! Play some “naturistic” games, create a rain stick and more!
Don’t forget Mahjong has begun so if you want to learn how to play or love the game, stop in every Monday from 1-3pm!

We will be closed on Wednesday July 4 to observe Independence Day. We will reopen Thursday at 10am.
We have started summer hours. That means we will be closed Saturdays through Labor Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday closed.

This Friday June 15 we will be having another Family Movie Night at 7:00pm. We will be showing, Sherlock Gnomes! Popcorn as always is provided; bring your own beverage! (PLEASE NOTE: We are not doing the end of school year movie marathon this year due to low turnout in the last two years as well as scheduling conflicts.)
On Wednesday June 20 please join us for our Book Talk at 6:30pm! Looking for a good book to read? We will be reading, Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. Copies can be picked up now! Discussion open to teens and adults! So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion! This is our last book talk until September.
