Join us for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour!  Bring your toddler or preschool child in on Tuesday April 24 at 10:00am.   Help us have fun reading about “Jump, Jump-Kangaroos”!  Stories, finger plays, a craft and more!  If you can’t make that day, join us Tuesday May 1 for stories about “Slowly but Surely-Turtles!”

On Friday April 27 be sure to join us for our Family Movie Night at 7:00pm! We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage!  We are showing, Paddington 2!

Join us again on Friday May 4 for another Movie Night at 7:00pm!  We provide the popcorn, bring your own beverage and join us! We will be showing the movie, The Greatest Showman. This movie is rated PG.

Mahjong starts again on Monday May 7 so if you want to learn how to play or love the game, stop in every Monday from 1-3pm!

We have started the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program at the library!  If you have a child one year or older and isn’t in Kindergarten, stop in and sign them up!  Read all the details here:  https://morrisvillepubliclibrary.org/1000-books-before-kindergarten/

Be sure to utilize our new service, Curbside Delivery available NOW!  Call the library for more details!  We will deliver your materials to your car between 3pm-5pm on Fridays!  (If you want curbside delivery besides this time, please call ahead.  If two people are working, we will gladly gather your materials and bring them to your car!)

Don’t forget that the Library Manager is a notary public, that we sell postage stamps and Madison County Landfill punch cards!  If you need a service, please let us know and we will see about getting it here!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

We are having another Wine & Paint Night on Friday April 6 at 6:30pm!  Open to adults and kids 13 and older!  If you don’t drink wine we will have grape juice and of course, goodies for everyone too!  Cost is $30 per person (payable the night of the program).  Reservations are required! We can have no more than 28 so space is limited!  Sign up now at the circulation desk!

Be sure to join us for our first Spring Historic Talk on Friday April 13 at 6:30pm.  Join Village and Town Historian, Sue Greenhagen, for an exciting talk about “What’s Old is New”.  She will share all the new photos and items she has collected in the past couple years! Come see scenes never before shown to the public!

Saturday April 14 we will be having our Spring Book Sale from 10:00am-4:00pm!  Come out and stock up for the nicer weather ahead!  Great deals and lots of new books to look through!  Sale to be held in the Library’s Program room.

On Wednesday April 18 we will be having a Book Talk on the book, The Child Finder by Rene Denfeld at 6:30pm. Copies can be picked up now!  Discussion open to teens and adults!  So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion!

Are you a senior citizen?  If so, RSVP with the support of the Morrisville Public Library will offer free income tax preparation for seniors 60 years and older.  RSVP volunteers will be providing FREE income tax services now through April 14. Volunteers are certified by the IRS to complete your tax forms. Please call Marie Smith at 315-684-3903 to sign up for your appointment to have your tax returns filed free of charge.
