We are hosting our first (hope to be annual) blood drive at the library this Friday September 23 from 1:00-6:00pm! Sign up now by either contacting the Library Manager, going to redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-RED-CROSS! Walk ins are welcome too! Help the community by giving blood today!
Be sure to join us on Wednesday September 28 for Citizen Preparedness & Hands Only CPR at 6:30pm. Join the American Red Cross as they teach us how to prepare, respond and recover in the event of an emergency. New guidelines from New York State recommend every citizen should know this and be able to be self-sufficient for 7 to 10 days after a disaster. They will also train the participants for Hands-Only CPR as a bonus! If you are interested, please sign up at the library!
On Friday September 30 join us for our Family Movie Night at 7:00pm. Come see the 2016 version of The Jungle Book! We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage. The library closes at 8pm, so if you have library business to attend to, please come early!
Our 14th Annual Pumpkin Coloring Contest begins on Saturday October 1! Stop in to the library and pick up your pumpkin coloring contest entry! You have until October 22 at 4pm to turn in your creations for judging. Open to toddler to 6th graders! Winners will be announced at our Halloween party at the end of the month.
We are having a Fall Book Sale on Saturday October 1 from 10am-4pm! Stop in and grab some good books for the fall weather ahead! Stock up for winter! Can’t beat the prices! We will have adult and kid’s books, DVD’s, books on tape or CD, music CD’s and more!
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is back! Bring your toddler or preschool child in on Tuesday October 4 at 10:00am. Help us have fun with “Apples and Pumpkins”! Stories, finger plays, a craft and more!
Be sure to join us on Thursday October 6 for our Essential Oils Class at 6:30pm. Join Robin Suarez as she helps us to better our lives naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. They are powerfully fragrant. They have been used throughout history for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Be sure to join us for our Teen/Adult Movie Night at 7pm this Friday September 9. We will be showing the movie, Me Before You. It is based on the book so if you have read it, come see if the movie is as good as it! We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage. The library closes at 8pm, so if you have library business to attend to, please come early! NOTE: This movie is PG-13 so we will NOT let anyone under the age of 13 view the movie without a parent/guardian.
Be sure to join us on Friday September 16 as Art and Shirley Zimmer give a Historic Talk at 6:30pm. As Shirley grew up in Eaton and her family is well known in Morrisville/Eaton area, she will be speaking about, “Growing up in Eaton/Morrisville”! Then Art will talk about “Growing up in Randallsville”! They will also be talking about their new 2nd book, “Making It Count: From A to Z, The Life and Times of Art Zimmer”. Books will be available to purchase at the end of the talk.
On Monday September 19 at 3:00pm we are hosting a College Survival Guide. Come learn about how to survive in college! Open to kids getting ready to go to college, currently enrolled students at college and/or young adults or adults thinking about attending in the future!

The Library Board meets at 6:30pm on Thursday September 15. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
