If you haven’t turned in your pumpkin coloring contest entry (kids toddler-sixth grade), please do so by October 22 at 4pm! Winners will be announced at our Halloween party at the end of the month.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing! Bring your toddler or preschool child in on Tuesday October 25 at 10:00am. Help us have fun with “Trick or Treat-Halloween”! Stories, finger plays, a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, please join us on November 1 for stories about “Time to Get Dressed!”
Be sure to join us this Friday October 21 for our Family Movie Night at 7:00pm. Popcorn will be provided! Just bring your own beverage! We will be showing, Ice Age 5: Collision Course!!
On Friday October 28 we will be having our annual Halloween Party at 6:30pm! Wear your costumes and join us for a spooky celebration! We will not only announce the winners of the pumpkin coloring contest, but play fun and games and make cool crafts too!
Do you need to take a defensive driving course? Need a reduction on your insurance? We are offering on Saturday October 29 a Defensive Driving Course from 10am-4pm. Cost is $35 (payable the day of the course). There will be a half hour lunch break (bring your own). Reservations are required!! We must have 15 people to hold the class. Please stop in and sign up, call the library at 315-684-9130 or email us at: morrisville@midyork.org to reserve your spot.
On Thursday November 3 join us for Essential Oils at 6:30pm. Join Robin Suarez as she helps us to better our lives naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. They are powerfully fragrant. They have been used throughout history for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.
We are having our family movie night on Friday November 4 at 7:00pm. We provide the popcorn; you bring your own beverage! We are showing the 2016 version of Ghostbusters! If you have seen the first one from the 1980’s, come compare the two movies! This is rated PG-13 so if you are under 13, make sure you bring a parent or guardian!
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Our 14th Annual Pumpkin Coloring Contest has begun! Stop in to the library and pick up your pumpkin coloring contest entry! You have until October 22 at 4pm to turn in your creations for judging. Open to toddler to 6th graders! Winners will be announced at our Halloween party at the end of the month.

Be sure to join us on Friday October 14 for our WWII Vet, Stan Davis Talk at 6:30pm. Davis was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps in the European Theatre during WWII. He served as a Crew Chief on P47 style planes as well serving as an engineer on C47 transport planes. He also was an amateur photographer who took and collected over 700 photos of his time overseas. Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz recently digitized these images and will feature a number of these images as part of the talk. Davis will talk about his experiences and the photos.
