Shop for the library this holiday season now until Saturday January 14 for our giving tree fundraiser! We have several items the library needs! It’s EASY! Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2017.
This Thursday December 1 come learn about Essential Oils at 6:30pm! Join Robin Suarez as she helps us to better our lives naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. They are powerfully fragrant. They have been used throughout history for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing! There will be NO story hour on Tuesday December 6, 2016. But, bring your toddler or preschool child in on Tuesday December 13 at 10:00am. Help us have fun with “Gingerbread Men”! Stories, finger plays, a craft and more!
Join us for our annual open house on Friday December 16 from 5-8pm! Come see what theme we chose this year for our Christmas tree! Eat some yummy goodies! Be sure to sign up for your chance to win our “Elf on a Shelf” book! We will be giving it away before Christmas! The kids can watch some Christmas movies, make some ornaments and see Santa too! Lots of fun for the ENTIRE family!
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Help provide Christmas gifts to the foster kids in Madison County! Help make their holidays a little brighter! Drop your NEW, UNWRAPPED toys off at the library now until November 30! Items can include: infant and toddler toys, preschool games and toys, books for all ages, personal hygiene items, in-expensive jewelry, art supplies and crafts, gift cards to Wal-Mart and other stores, hats, mittens, scarves, PJ’s, underwear and socks for all ages.
We will end our fall History series this Friday November 18 with “From Bingley to Busti” at 6:30pm. Come and learn the story of a Madison County Mill which existed for close to 160 years before being torn down. Here how remnants from the mill are now part of a thriving mill in western NY, and the miller’s home is a residence in another town.

Stories, finger plays, a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, please join us on November 29 for stories about “Get Well Soon! Please note: There will be NO story hour on Tuesday December 6, 2016.
Be sure to join us on Wednesday November 23 for the Utica Zoomobile at 1:00pm! The Utica Zoo will be bringing a few of their animals for us to see, learn about and touch. Bring the family in for a good time with these animals!

Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. Buy it, donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can! We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2017.

We are having our family movie night on Friday November 4 at 7:00pm. We provide the popcorn; you bring your own beverage! We are showing the 2016 version of Ghostbusters! If you have seen the first one from the 1980’s, come compare the two movies! This is rated PG-13 so if you are under 13, make sure you bring a parent or guardian!

Be sure to join us on Monday November 7 for the “Landing the Job” presentation at 3:00pm! Join BEAM as they present how to land the job, discuss interviewing techniques, do’s and don’ts of interviewing, obtaining that job, what to expect to be taken out of your paycheck, etc.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday November 17 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
We will be closed on Friday November 11 to celebrate Veteran’s Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
