Going on now and running until Monday February 29 we are having our annual Canned Food Drive to benefit the Morrisville Food Pantry. Please help us make it better than last year! Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines!
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing! Bring your preschool child on Tuesday February 2 at 10am as we will be reading about teeth!! Stories, finger plays, rhymes, crafts and more! Can’t make that day then join us again on Tuesday February 9 for stories about Hugs and Kisses!
Tai Chi Chuan will be Monday February 1 at 6:30pm. Join MSC Professor, Bill Snyder, as he shares with you various techniques of this art form. They are always looking for new people so stop in today. They meet every Monday until June. If you can’t make that day, join them on February 8!
Join us on Thursday February 4 for Essential Oils at 6:30pm. Join Robin Suarez and Darlene Virgil as they share with you how to better your life naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. You can use them in various different ways! Come see how!
On Friday February 5 we will be having a Wii Game Night at 6:30pm. Join us and play some Wii games on the big screen! Feel free to bring your own games and controllers. ***PLEASE NOTE: This is a Wii NOT a Wii U, so bring ONLY Wii games. Play with other people and have some fun on a cold winter’s night. Feel free to bring a snack to share and if we have enough people who want to stay, we will stay past closing!
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

On Wednesday January 27 join us for the “MyPlate” Presentation at 1:00pm. Join Anna Kortright, a nutritionist with Eat Smart New York (ESNY) as she shows us “MyPlate.” Participants will learn about MyPlate which has replaces the food pyramid. There will be a discussion on healthy eating, serving sizes etc. as well as a game and a delicious sample of a healthy recipe! Participants will receive a beautiful 2016 nutrition and fitness calendar full of recipes and healthy living tips! ***PLEASE SIGN UP AT THE CIRCULATION DESK STARTING JANUARY 4, 2016. ***
On Friday January 29 we will be having our Family Movie Night at 7:00pm. We are showing The Minions Movie! If you haven’t seen it, you will want to! Bring the family in for this great movie! We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage!
The Library Board will meet on Thursday January 21 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room. The public is welcome to attend.
