This Friday March 27 at 12:15pm we will be having a Book Talk! We will be discussing Matthew Pearl’s The Dante Club! Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
Don’t forget our Family Movie Night at 6:00pm this Friday March 27! We will be showing the movie, The Dog Who Saved Easter! We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage! What a great movie to see before the Easter holiday!
Our annual Easter Basket raffle has begun! We are raffling off two children’s baskets for Easter! Get your tickets at the library or from any trustee to win a children’s basket full of goodies. Tickets are $1 each! Winners will be announced on Friday April 3!
If you haven’t seen the artwork from our ER Andrews grades K-3 kids, then stop in now before April 3! Their awesome work on display until then! After that the 4th and 5th graders take the room over with their artwork!
Tai Chi Chuan Class meets again on Monday March 30 at 6:30pm. Join MSC Professor, Bill Snyder, as he facilitates this internal Chinese martial art. Best part- IT’S FREE! If you cannot make that day, join them on Monday April 6.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing!! Come join us on Tuesday March 31 at 9:45am come hear stories about Easter! Join us for an Easter Egg Hunt; make an Easter sun catcher and more! If you cannot make that day, join us for stories about Creepy Crawly Bugs on April 7!
On Friday April 3 join us for our second historical talk, Birth, Death and Rebirth of Hops Talk at 6:30pm. Join Madison County Historian, Matthew Urtz as he shares about Hops in Madison County!
Wednesday April 8 is our third historical talk, All About Greene Smith, Gerrit Smith’s Son at 6:30pm. Join Norm Dann as he shares about this great man! Did you know Greene was Gerrit Smith’s son, and a nationally known ornithologist and sportsman–president of both the American Sportsman’s Association and the New York State Sportsman’s Association in the late 1870s? Come and find out more about him!
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Please stop in and view the ER Andrews Kindergarten through grade 3 art on display now until April 3! Be sure to attend the artist’s reception on Saturday March 21 from 12-2pm. Meet the art teacher, Kelly Holmes, view the artwork and enjoy some goodies!
