From Monday November 3 until Monday November 24 we are having a Lights on the Lake Fundraiser!! We are raffling off 3 car passes to Lights on the Lake in Liverpool NY!  Stop in and get your ticket(s) today or see any library trustee!  A $15 value!  Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5.  Start or continue a holiday tradition with us!  Drawing will be held the evening of November 24 and need not be present to win.

On Friday November 21 at 12:15pm we will be having a Book Talk on The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.  Stop in and get your copy now, then join us for a discussion!  Don’t forget to bring your lunch!

We are having a family movie night on Friday November 21 at 6pm!  We will be showing the movie, Maleficent.  We provide the popcorn; you bring your own beverage!

Tai Chi Chuan Class meets again on Monday November 24 at 6:30pm.  Join MSC Professor, Bill Snyder, as he facilitates this internal Chinese martial art.  Best part- IT’S FREE!  If you can’t make this day, they meet again on Monday December 1 too!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing!!  Come join us on Tuesday November 25 at 9:45am come hear stories from books that we are thankful for!  If you cannot make that day, join us for monkeys on December 2!  We will also make a monkey puppet to take home!

Join us on Wednesday November 26 at 1:00pm for the Utica Zoomobile!  The Utica Zoo will be bringing a few of their animals for us to see, learn about and touch.  Bring the family in for a good time with these animals!

Join us on Friday December 5 at 6:30pm as we “Countdown to Christmas!”  Come start the countdown to Christmas with us!  Complete a scavenger hunt, with various different countdown things to take home and do!  Yummy goodies, crafts, and more!

We will be closed on Thursday November 27- Saturday November 29 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will reopen on Monday December 1 at noon!  We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

This Friday November 7, we will be showing the movie, Deliver Us From Evil at 7:00pm.  We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage.  The library closes at 8pm, so if you have library business to attend to, please come early as the movie will end after we are closed!  NOTE: This movie is a horror movie and rated R.  We will NOT let anyone under the age of 17 view the movie without a parent/guardian OR a note from your parent saying that it’s okay to watch.

Join us on Friday November 14 at 6:30pm for the Blizzard of ’88 (1888 that is).  Join Village and Town Historian, Sue Greenhagen, as she shares the story of an epic snowstorm that struck the East Coast in March of 1888 and its effects downstate as well as here in Central New York.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday November 20 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  The public is welcome to attend.

We will be closed on Tuesday November 11 to observe Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen Wednesday at 12pm.  We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
