LIBRARY CLOSED– We will be closed on Monday and Tuesday July 3 & 4 to observe Independence Day. We will reopen Wednesday July 5, at 12pm.
Take-n-Make Craft– Stop in Wednesday July 5-Friday July 7 and get your activity to do at home! This week will be Make Your Own Friendship Bracelet! Craft kits are for kids ages 2-12 ONLY!
Water Fun– Join us as we play some awesome, outside water games to enjoy the summer weather on Wednesday July 5 at 6:00pm! Dress to get wet (bring a towel or an extra set of clothes). Make sure to do library business BEFORE the program as the library closes at 7pm.
Morning Walking Group– Every Thursday AM (if it’s rainy, stay home) at 10:00am to get some steps in for health! Open to any that are available and able to walk! That means our older patrons, our homeschool patrons, moms/dads while the kiddos are at school, kids in strollers (bring your parents), etc. Meet new friends, bring a friend, come and socialize while we get healthy! (Be sure to wear proper walking shoes and bring a bottle of water too!) This program will run every Thursday through October 19, 2023! (You do not need to attend every week.) July dates are: July 6, 13, 20, 27.

Book Sale– Join us on Saturday July 8 from 9:00am-2:00pm for our Summer Book Sale. Bring your own bags/boxes. Can’t make it Saturday? We have our Bag Sale Monday July 10 from 2:00-6:00pm. We provide the bags; all you can fit for $2! CASH only for purchases. Stock up for the nice summer weather of reading outside!

Kindness Rock Makerspace-Stop in Monday July 10-Friday July 14 and make a kindness rock! Open to kids ages 6 through adult. (The paint markers are acrylic and do not wash off easy so sorry little ones!) Take your rock with you and leave it at someone’s door (to show kindness) or put it in our garden outside! One rock per person, while supplies last. (The makerspace will be set up by the circulation desk.)

Kiddies Korner, Story Time–Join us on Tuesday July 11 at 10:00am! We will be hearing stories about “Friends!”, doing some fingerplays, songs, a craft and more! Open to toddlers through preschool!
Kreative Krafters group– Meets every Tuesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the program room! This is open to anyone who wants to work on a craft but never finds the time. If it’s a craft and you can bring it with you, then pack it up and come on over! (July dates are July 11, 18, and 25.)
Homeschool Retreat!– Join us every 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:00pm-3:00pm for games, fun, snacks and socializing! We meet on Thursday July 13! Feel free to bring a game or two and a snack if you want! (We will provide them too!) Come meet other homeschoolers and have some fun too!
Jeff the Magic Man– Join us for “Friends Stick Together” on Friday July 14 at 6:00pm. Endless fun awaits for Jeff and his new friends! We’ll learn what it means to be a great friend! Kindness, consideration, magic and reading come front and center! Magic, balloon animals and more! Fun for the entire family!

Library Board Meeting– The Library Board of Trustees meet on Tuesday July 18 at 5:30pm in the program room. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Build a Stuffed Gorilla– ONLY for ages 3-12 only! Please be sure to register for this event starting July 5, 2023 at the circulation desk. Then join us on Wednesday July 19 at 6:00pm as we build our own gorilla! Make sure to do library business BEFORE the program as the library closes at 7pm.
Scavenger Hunt– Come participate in our Library Scavenger Hunt on Friday July 21 at 6:00pm! Fun for the whole family!

Thankful Mail Makerspace-Stop in Monday July 24-Friday July 28 and make some Thankful Mail! Write a letter and mail it to someone who has positively impacted your life (a friend, family member, teacher, etc.). Color a card we have available, or write your own! (The makerspace will be set up by the circulation desk.)
