Friday April 3- Easter Cards & Treats- 6:30pm
Come make 3 Easter cards and/or gifts too! Cost is $5 per set of 3 activities (payable the night of the program). Jackie Groves of Librarystampers Creations will demonstrate how to use stamps and other tools to create these unique items! This is open to ages 12 and up (but if someone younger wants to participate; a parent/guardian must come too!) We must have 5 people signed up to have this event, so please sign up starting March 10, 2020 at the circulation desk!
Monday April 6- Crochet!- 6:30pm
Know how to crochet and want to join others? Want to learn how? Come join us every month! Bring what you are working on or if you are new, bring a G or H hook and a skein of yarn and we can get you started!

Tuesday April 7- Madison County Recycling Center Homeschool Event- 1:30pm
We are hosting a field trip to the Madison County Recycling Center! Kristin Welch, the Recycling Coordinator, will lead a tour highlighting the trash and recycling system in Madison County. The tour will cover how the landfill works, the recycling center and take a closer look at some of the unique programs and partnerships that are located at the main landfill site. Either meet at the Morrisville Public Library between 1-1:15pm (we will leave promptly at 1:15pm) to travel together or meet us at: 6641 Buyea Road, Canastota. (More detailed directions to come soon!) Please email the Library Manager (mrounds@midyork.org) by Monday April 6, if you would like to attend so we can give a number to the County!
Friday April 10- A Virtual Walk through Downtown Hamilton in 1950- 6:30pm
We will host a special presentation host by Art Zimmer. This will be a fun walk down memory lane to see what businesses in Hamilton over 60 years ago. Zimmer moved to Hamilton in 1948 and will talk about how changes in society have influenced the changes in the business makeup of downtown Hamilton.

Wednesday April 22– Book Talk-Mother-in-Law- 6:30pm
Looking for a good book to read? How about joining our book talk as we will be reading, Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth. Copies can be picked up on March 18 or after! Discussion open to teens and adults! So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion!
Friday April 24– Family Movie Night- 7:00pm
We provide the popcorn, you bring your own beverage! We will be showing the movie, Dolittle (2020 version), rated PG!
Saturday April 25- NERF Battle Night- 4:30pm-7:00pm
Bring your own Nerf equipment (darts too–please label them) and join us for open play around the library! See if the library stacks provide you enough shelter from getting hit by a friend’s foam dart! Open to ages 7 and up; so adults are welcome too! Everyone must bring a snack and a beverage. We only have 14 spaces so sign up starting April 1!
