Join us for Aquarium! on Friday June 3 at 6:30pm.  See some live aquatic animals and have fun learning about them!  NOTE- This program will be held at the fire house across the street.

On Saturday June 4 at 10:30am we will be having Sign Language Fun!  Come learn some simple sign language!  Learn what it’s like to use your hands to communicate with others!

Join us for Magic Day on Friday June 10 at 6:30pm!  Come learn some simple magic tricks.  Bring your favorite trick to share!  Make some edible wands!

The Library will be closed on Monday May 30 to observe Memorial Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are still taking volunteer applications to work some hours when our new addition is open in June. If interested, stop into the library and get one. Anyone 14 and older can apply.

We are holding a shelf fundraiser now and need your help!  Donate coins on up to $500 to help build a stack of shelves.  Inquire at the library for more details!

We will be closing for a few days up to a week in the middle of June to move the books into the new addition.  As soon as we have a definitive date, we will announce it.  We appreciate your continued patronage and patience during this exciting time here!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

We are having a Book Sale Bonanza to clear out lots of book sale books before we move into the new addition!  Join us this weekend on Friday May 20th from 4-8pm, Saturday 10-4pm and Sunday 12-3pm for some great deals, lots of freebies and get some great reads for the summer ahead!

Join us for the Wizard of Oz night to celebrate the author of this book, L. Frank Baum, this Friday May 20 at 6:30pm.  Come have fun with us and this story!

Did you know the American Red Cross was founded in 1886?  Come learn about this amazing organization on Saturday May 21 at 10:30am.

Lucky’s Caldecott Series will be back on Wednesday May 25 at 6:30pm.  The book we are looking at is Officer Buckle & Gloria by Peggy Rathmann.  Join us and Lucky for some fun with this book!

To celebrate Friday the 13th we will be showing Little Vampires this Friday May 13 at 6:00pm.  We will provide the refreshments!  Note:  This movie will be shown at the fire house.

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday May 17 at 9:30am with “Ice Cream”.  Bring your child or grandchild in to hear some stories about ice cream and then eat some yummy sundaes as this is our last story hour until fall!

The winners of the Easter Basket are:  the adult basket donated by Holly’s Garden was Beth Burlison.  Charlie Parker and Jasmine Temple won the children’s baskets created by Nan Warren.  Thank you to all who bought tickets!

May is Strawberry month so be sure to join us for Strawberries Galore! this Friday May 6 at 6:30pm.  Come learn about the strawberry and enjoy some yummy treats!

Join us on Saturday May 7 at 10:30am as we make gifts to honor our beloved mothers.  Mother’s Day is Sunday May 8, so bring the kids in to make something for their mom!
