The Library Manager is a librarian chicken farmer again this year! We are trying our hand, again, at hatching eggs! We placed them in the incubator on Saturday June 13, they should hatch the weekend of July 4, and we will be going Facebook Live for the entire event again this year! We have been doing NO CONTACT PICK UP for over 3 weeks now and it is going well! Here are all the details! Place Your Order and Schedule a Pickup time by calling the library (315-684-9130), emailing us (morrisville@midyork.org), or our preference, filling out the Google Form online (https://forms.gle/DMDHPKAsVpiVXYsS6) to place your order. Be sure to give us your name, phone number or email address, items desired, pickup time frame, and any other relevant information pertaining to your order. All the “rules” and FAQ’s can be found at our website: morrsivillepubliclibrary.org! You can checkout up to 15 items and two of those can be NEW DVD’s and four NEW books!
Starting the week of June 22, we are now taking “orders” for faxes, copies and printed materials as well as scheduling notary appointments! All patrons must EMAIL the library at morrisville@midyork.org with the documents they need to have printed, copies made, or faxes sent. They need to list how many copies made, if they need it stapled, double-sided, etc. and for faxes, what number the document needs to be sent to. The Library will not be handling papers from the no contact pick up area at this time for copies, prints, and faxes. Patrons may now make a notary appointment by calling the library at 315-684-9130 or emailing the Notary at mrounds@midyork.org. The notary will contact the patron within 48 hours of initial contact to set up a time to meet.
Our Virtual Summer Reading program, Imagine your Summer at the Morrisville Public Library starts Monday June 29, 2020! All the details can be found on our website but here is a list of some of the great things happening this summer: SRP Mural, LEGO contest, online Estimation Jar Contest, time capsules, teen virtual read, Kiddies Korner Facebook Live story time, virtual escape rooms, scavenger hunts around the area, make-n-take crafts, online trivia nights, Read Squared registration program complete with tracking of minutes, badges, missions, mini games and more! Then to end the summer, a virtual awards ceremony for kids who have read at least 12 hours for the course of the program. Many great online awards parents can screenshot and print for the memory books!

EXCITING NEWS!!! We are open for NO CONTACT PICKUP! Here are all the details! Place Your Order and Schedule a Pickup time by calling the library (315-684-9130), emailing us (morrisville@midyork.org), or our preference, filling out the Google Form online (https://forms.gle/DMDHPKAsVpiVXYsS6) to place your order. Be sure to give us your name, phone number or email address, items desired, pickup time frame, and any other relevant information pertaining to your order.
No Contact Pickup hours are: Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-6pm. (Hours will be extended as we proceed through this process.)
Library staff will contact you to confirm your order, and finalize a pick up time. (Appointments will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis, and we cannot guarantee the ability to fulfill same day orders.)
Only Morrisville Public Library items are currently available for No Contact Pickup. At this time, checkouts are limited to 10 total items per patron, 1 NEW DVD (four total) and 2 NEW books. (Checkout limits will be extended as we proceed).
When it’s your time, come to the library to pick up your order. Please arrive at your scheduled time: To provide the safest possible pickup experience, we ask that patrons show up at their scheduled time and do not come early. (If you are going to be late, please call the library at 315-684-9130 to schedule a new pick up time.) Walk up to the table in front of the main entrance of the building. (Face coverings are requested.) Keep six feet away from Library Staff or anyone you might come in contact with. Retrieve your order from the table. You will find it in a bag with your name on it. Place any returns in the designated bin by the pick up table. (DO NOT touch any items already in the bin.)
To keep everyone safe, please promptly return to your vehicle after retrieving your order and returning any items. After being returned, items will be quarantined for five days before becoming available to the community. This means it will take up to six days for the materials you have returned to be removed from your account.
PLEASE NOTE! We will only allow two library card orders per household per pickup time slot.
