Summer Reading is over!  Next week I will share who graduated and how many hours they read collectively!  It’s been a great summer of reading, programs, contests and more!

We will be showing the movie, 42, on Friday August 30 at 6:00pm.  Bring the family in for this “sports film non-sports fans can love; it’s a family film that never preaches”.  Popcorn will be provided!  Please note: This movie is rated PG-13 so if you are not 13 years of age, you MUST bring a parent or guardian with you or we will not allow you to view the movie.

Join us for Video Game Night on Friday September 6 at 6:30pm.  Bring your handheld gaming system (DS, 3DS, or any other) OR come and play on our WII gaming system.  Play against other gaming enthusiasts!  Please make sure any games you bring have your name on them.  Feel free to bring a nutritious snack to share!

Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will resume again on Mondays starting September 9 at 6:30pm.  Come join instructor Bill Snyder.  Open to all teens and adults.  If you can’t make it that day, he will be here again on September 16.

The Morrisville Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for interested candidates to be on a waiting list should an opening become available on the board.  Interested people must be at least 18 years of age and qualified to vote in the M-ECS District. He/she must be literate, a citizen of the United States and not be a convicted felon or have been adjudged incompetent.  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the Library Manager.

The Library will be closed on Monday September 2 to observe Labor Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday at 10am!  Also, our summer hours end Labor Day weekend so on Saturday September 7, we will be open 10-4pm again!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm for the summer.

Hey kids!:  Be sure to finish reading 10 or more hours before Friday August 16 to be able to win some great prizes and be invited to our summer reading graduation ceremony on Wednesday August 21 at 6:30pm!

Juggling Josh, also known as Joshua Edelman, has been delighting audiences with his unique blend of breathtaking skills and side splitting comedy for over a decade.  He will be here this Friday August 9 at 6:30pm!  His show features the fusion of spellbinding feats, tons of interactive audience participation, and side-splitting comedy. He might even juggle your child!  Bring the family in for a sure to be good time!

Join us for “I Dig Treasure Hunts” on Wednesday August 14 at 6:30pm.  Everyone likes treasure hunts right?  Well, we hope you can find the treasure at our library!  Join us and see if you can complete our treasure hunt for the hidden treasure!

Join us for “I Dig Water!” on Friday August 16th at 6:30pm!  OK, we have to play with water!  It’s summertime!  So bring the kids in and plan to get wet!  Please bring a towel or a change of clothes.
