The Board of Trustees Silent Auction has begun! Stop in and bid on over 60 items today! Bidding ends on Friday December 7 at 8pm. Perfect gifts to give this holiday season! The silent auction is being held in the library’s program room.
This Friday November 30 at 6:30pm we will be having a Wine and Paint Night! Open to adults and kids 13 and older! If you don’t drink wine we will have grape juice and of course, goodies for everyone too! Make it a mother/daughter night or a date night or some good friends just getting together to paint! Cost is $35 per person (payable the night of the program). Reservations are required! Sign up now at the circulation desk!
Bring the little ones in for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour on Tuesday December 4 at 10am!! Help us have fun with “Counting and Numbers!” Stories, finger plays a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, join us on Tuesday December 11 for “Reindeer!”
Be sure to join us on Wednesday December 5 for our BLOX, Lego Club at 4:00pm! Come join the fun! We provide the Lego’s; please come and show us your expertise! Topics change every time we meet but building and fun is what it’s all about! All ages are welcome (young and old) and you do not need to attend every time! Come when you can!
On Friday December 7 you are all cordially invited to our Annual Open House from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Come see what theme we chose for our Christmas tree! Eat some yummy goodies! Be sure to sign up for your chance to win your own “Elf on the Shelf” book or an adult Christmas coloring book! Come see Santa!! The kids can play games, watch some Christmas movies, make some crafts and more! DON’T FORGET to make your final bids on our silent auction! Lots of fun for the ENTIRE family!
On Wednesday December 12 our next Adulting 101 Class will be about Basic Cooking at 6:30pm! This is for patrons ages 15-25 (though all ages over 15 are welcome!) This month Kelly Foster, President of our Board of Trustees, will be hosting it! She will be teaching us simple cooking terms and we will be making no-bake Christmas cookies and prepping the dry ingredients to another great Christmas cookie we can take home and finish!
Our next NERF Battle night will be Friday December 14 from 8:30pm-11:00pm. Sign-ups begin December 1 at the library and be sure to get a permission slip as well. No one enters without a slip and signing up. Open to 10 and up (adults too!) Only 16 spaces available!
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Now until Saturday January 19 is our Giving Tree Fundraiser. Shop for the library this holiday season! We have several items the library needs! It’s EASY! Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. Buy it, donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can! We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2019.

CALLING ALL PARENTS! Want to get some things done for Thanksgiving without the kiddos “helping”?? We can help! On Wednesday November 21 we will be showing Christopher Robin at 10am! (Hey kids you get to hang out in the library when it’s CLOSED!), then LUNCH (bring your own) and the Utica Zoomobile at 1pm! Parents can fill out a permission slip when they bring their child (anytime between 9:30-10am with their child’s lunch) and come back at 2pm to get them! 4 glorious hours of being child-free! (Children 8 and up though! Kids under 8 must be with a parent!) Oh, and parents, you can just stay the whole time too (and bring your lunch) if you want to see the movie and the animals!!! JOIN US for a FUN-FILLED day!!!!

We will be closed from Thursday November 22 through Saturday November 24 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday! We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
