If you haven’t signed up for summer reading there is still a couple weeks left! The theme this year is, “On Your Mark, Get Set-READ”! Lots of fun and exciting things going on this summer! Stop in to find out!
Be sure to come on Friday July 29 for Motion Commotion at 6:30pm. Join us as we move and move and MOVE! Do lots of fun “moving” activities as we make sure we are creating a commotion of motion!
On Monday August 1 join us for our next Sports Movie Marathon and showing of Air Bud, a classic basketball movie at 7:00pm. We provide the popcorn; bring your own beverage.
We have two special Summer Reading Kiddies Korners (our preschool story hour) left!! Be sure to bring your kiddos in at 10am for stories, finger plays, crafts and more! August 2 we will be hearing stories about Yummy Food! On August 9 we will be reading about “Let’s Play”! That’s it for story hour until Tuesday October 4, 2016!
On Wednesday August 3 be sure to join us for Jester Jim at 6:30pm. With nothing more than a trunk full of props, Jester Jim will have you cracking up in your seats! Juggling, balancing and beat boxing, this show is packed full of entertainment!
On Monday August 8 we will be having our last movie in our Sports Movie Marathon. Join us at 7pm for Mighty Ducks, a classic hockey movie! We provide the popcorn; bring your own beverage.
Be sure to join us on Wednesday August 10 for Sports Experiments & Science at 6:30pm. Have you ever done experiments with sports? Science experiments are always fun but wait until you see what we do with sports and science and experimenting!
To end summer reading, join us on Friday August 12 at 6:30pm for Out of the Cage Pet Mobile. Join Jennifer Clark as she brings her traveling exotic petting zoo to our library. She will be bringing 6 different animals to learn about as well as see and touch!
Summer Reading Ends on Friday August 12 at 8pm. Get your records in at the library and make sure you have read at least ten hours or you cannot participate in our summer reading graduation On August 17!
Don’t forget we are closed Saturdays through Labor Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Summer Reading has begun! The theme this year is, “On Your Mark, Get Set-READ”! Stop in and sign up if you haven’t! Lots of fun and exciting things going on this summer! Stop in to find out!
New this summer we will be having a special Summer Reading Kiddies Korner (our preschool story hour) that meets every Tuesday through August 9! Be sure to bring your kiddos in at 10am for stories, finger plays, crafts and more! July 19 we will be hearing stories about Back to Nature and making edible camp fires! July 26 we will be reading about “All About You”!
Join us on Wednesday July 13 for Yummy!-Fun with Food at 6:30pm. Did your parents teach you it’s not polite to play with your food? Well it’s okay at the library this summer! Do some cool games and crafts, play with food and more! Sure to be a grand ole time!
On Friday July 15 be sure to join us for Blast From the Past, Classic Game Night at 6:30pm! Come play lots of games and we bet there are some classic games that you may have never even heard of! Lots of fun and silliness to occur!
Be sure to join us on Wednesday July 20 for the Motion Man at 6:30pm. Take a Mechanical Man, precision Pantomime, lyrical movement, hysterical characterizations, a Chagall, Giant Bubbles, Toilet Plungers, Step Ladders, Gibberish, a Ukulele, Spinning Plates, 8 Foot Streamers, a Parasol, a Floating Hat; Things that Float over the Audience, a man squeezing through a picture frame, giant bubbles and Inspirational Improvisation put them in a blender and voila -you have-The Motion Man! Bring the family in for a FUN time!
On Friday July 22 be sure to come and be part of our Sportstacular Night at 6:30pm! Come and join us for indoor/outdoor games of Olympic proportions! Fun for the entire family!
On Monday July 25 we will be having our next night of our Sports Movie Marathon. We will be showing the Angels in the Outfield, a classic baseball movie at 7:00pm. We provide the popcorn; bring your own beverage.
Wednesday July 27 is our Library Scavenger Hunt at 6:30pm. We can’t have summer reading without a scavenger hunt! Come see what cool way we are scavenging around the library this year!

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday July 21 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
