Canned Food & Hygiene Drive-We will be having our annual Canned Food Drive to benefit the Morrisville Food Pantry UNTIL Saturday March 4.  Please help us make it better than ever!  Help us to benefit to our food pantry!  We can only take any non-perishable, UNEXPIRED canned food item!!  We will ALSO collect hygiene products like soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes etc. for the Pantry as well!

Take-n-Make March Craft(s)– Attention Kids! CLICK HERE to see what we are making this month! Open to ages 2-12; while supplies last!

Dr. Seuss Day!– Come grab your special Dr. Seuss grab bag of goodies to celebrate Dr. Seuss at home with your families starting Thursday March 2 ! Open to kids ages 2-12 years of age! Bags available from Thursday March 2 while supplies last.

Essential Oils– Come learn how quality essential oils can be used every day to help you and your family live healthier on Thursday March 2 at 6:00pm.  Presented by Tracy Clark.

RC Car Fun Night- Want a different place to drive your remote control cars? Want to race against others? Bring your RC car(s) (and batteries or charger) and join us Friday March 3 from 7pm-9pm! Open to ages 6 and up (so adults can bring theirs too!) Participants can only bring 3 vehicles and it is recommended you label your chargers etc. Parents must stay the entire time and its suggested you bring a snack and beverage as breaks will be provided. Need not stay the entire time, but no entry after 7:10pm. Please do not come if you are exhibiting cold-like symptoms. Staff reserve the right to ask child/parent to leave. MUST reserve your spot starting Tuesday February 21, 2023 by stopping into the library. No phone calls.

Kiddies Korner, Story Time–Join us on Tuesday March 7 at 10:00am! We will be hearing stories about “Colors of the Rainbow!”, doing some fingerplays, songs, a craft and more! Open to toddlers through preschool! (NOW VIRTUAL UNTIL APRIL 4. WATCH IT ON FACEBOOK AND STOP IN AND GET YOUR CRAFT BEFORE THE WEEKS END!)

Kreative Krafters group– Meets every Tuesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the program room! This is open to anyone who wants to work on a craft but never finds the time! (Some sample crafts are: knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, needlepoint, the new popular Diamond Dotz, Quickpoint, quilting, scrapbooking, whittling, origami, weaving and beadwork.) If it’s a craft and you can bring it with you, then pack it up and come on over! (Dates are March 7, 14, 21 and 28.)

2nd Grade Reading Program– Open to all MECS 2nd graders wanting to complete some of their books for the 2nd grade Book Club! Every month we will be reading on some of the harder topics (poetry, historic people, nonfiction, NY and USA.) On Wednesday March 8 at 6:00pm we will be reading two books about NY State and the US and doing a fun activity as well! Then after attending, you can mark off those 2 books as read on your reading log! (April’s topic is nonfiction!)

Homeschool Retreat!– Join us every 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:00pm-3:00pm for games, fun, snacks and socializing! Our first retreat is Thursday March 9! Feel free to bring a game or two and a snack if you want! (We will provide them too!) Come meet other homeschoolers and have some fun too!

Movie NightDisney’s Strange World (PG)– Join us on Friday March 10 at 7:00pm! Please bring your own beverage and snacks. We will provide ONE cone of popcorn to each person in attendance. Movies will be shown when the library is closed. Please be sure to use the program room door as the main entrance WILL BE LOCKED! IF YOU ARE EXHIBITING ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND OUR MOVIE NIGHTS! Staff reserve the right to ask you to leave if you are exhibiting symptoms at any time during the movie.

Library Board Meeting- The Library Board of Trustees meet on Thursday March 16 at 5:30pm. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Women in WWII, Historic Talk- Join Matthew Urtz, Madison County Historian, on Friday March 24 at 6pm as he shares with us what women did during WWII on a national level (briefly) but then focusing on what women from Madison County were doing both in the service and at home.

March Book Discussion– Lost Girls of Willowbrook by Ellen Marie Wiseman
Copies can be picked up starting February 22, 2023.  Read the book because you want to OR come and meet in person on Wednesday March 29 at 6:00pm and talk about it with your fellow Morrisvillians!
